If you’ve seen the last couple posts I made about the kid-friendly graphic novel I’m working on, you’ve probably gotten the entirely accurate sense that I’ve been having trouble nailing down my character designs, and the overall art style they’ll live in. I think things finally clicked tonight, and if I’m not done done with these guys, I’m at least done enough to push forward. For the curious, here’s a peek :: 4 Comments... :::: Your Reply... :: |

Yes, it looks great. Don’t worry about the bird getting slimmer in one panel and thicker in another, real birds actually do that. The ‘coon has just gotten to the awesome point. If you change anything (you need not) I’d recommend beefier hindquarters and slightly lighter forelegs. Cartoon raccoons always have heads much larger, compared to bodies, than the real ones. Your ‘coon’s head is only modestly larger than a real one. Fine job.
