That and there aren’t too many Twinkies left, so chances of them killing you are slightly lower.

Ack! I had to Google Twinkie after I read your comment, and I’m flabbergasted! Who’d have ever thought Twinkies would disappear?! And you can’t even find Zingers anymore… :/

Twinkies were said to survive a Nuclear Holocaust. But we have found their one true weakness: Bankruptcy.
At least Twinkies aren’t filled with a deadly neurotoxin that will kill you in five minutes.

Hey, it couldn’t kill Homer Simpson (then again, I’m starting to think nothing can)…

I don’t think that you guys (and girls?) need to worry about Twinkies and the other Hostess brands disappearing forever, because that’s what they were: brands. I’m quite certain that someone will buy the brand-name (Little Debbie — which makes clones of all of the Hostess brands already — or Bimbo come to mind) and start making all the little sugar-rush-inducing, artery-clogging confections that you can stuff into your faces in no time. Bon appetit!

Jynksie: [cut to Scott's house getting flattened by a colossal Twinkiw]
Kiriain: …Maybe that would have been a way for them to survive bankruptcy!
DadaHyena: You know, you’re right there… He was on to something…
reynard: Bimbo? No, there can’t be a snack cake company called Bimbo, can there?… Oh, Google…

Twinkies might have killed slowly, but I killed them quickly!

(Seriously… I don’t know what the world-record for finishing a box was, BUT…)

@ Chris: I found them when I lived in Virginia and Tennesee. They were a pretty small brand back when I first found out about them, but they seem to have gone national after they acquired the Sara Lee brand. (There’s even a Distribution office in Indianapolis, where I live.)

SpilledInk: Oh, now I want Twinkies again. Thanks, Robert.
Reynard: I just looked them up on Google. They really missed the boat on mascot selection. (A bear chef? C’mon, guys, this one is staring you in the face!)
