  1. Pat wolfman dude (W.D. Pat)

I love you guys. I’ve jumped here from WAH, Woody after Hours. I was hoping to use “Blue Milk Special’s” It’s a Frapp strip. But I lost the link.

  2. SpilledInkGuy

The laughs are always in season over here, Mr. W!

  3. jynksie

PUN ALERT! [smirk] good one sir W!

  4. JakeLives!

Interesting change in lines, they seem a bit heavier.

  5. Colleen

It’s a new style of tree indeed, and quite early even for our Xmas follows Halloween merch culture

  6. DadaHyena

    He’s pining for the fjords!

  7. Tina

  8. Spike Matthews

    Ba-dum TISH!

I like how Colin goes for puns, but his wife is never quite sure about them.

  9. Chris

Pat: Welcome aboard! I’d never heard of that comic, so I Googled it. Here’s the link you mentioned (better “latte” than never!) http://www.bluemilkspecial.com/?p=1498
SpilledInk: As long as that season isn’t the winter of your discontent! :)
Jynksie: I thought a good tree pun might spruce things up around here. ;)
Jake: Yep, probably because I intentionally did them more loosely. What do you think–worth continuing?
Colleen: When they start 4th of July sales on Black Friday, I’m calling foul.
DadaHyena: And he might be getting some ex-presents! :)
    Tina: Thanks! :D
Spike: That bit’s VERY autobiographical. :D

  10. JakeLives!

I think it’s worth it. Your old way seemed slightly more detailed but that also may be because they’re wearing solid blacks vice greytone clothing. . Are you using multiple sizes of pens or did you just ink heavier in the last two panels? Because it looks like the lines are thinner in the first than the last two.

  11. Chris

I inked this one in Manga Studio, and changed brush sizes between panels. (I try to use thicker brushes for closer objects.) Seems a bit overly rough to me, though. I have to put myself in a new headspace!
