Last week, I was psyched to have the chance to record an episode of the new GeekPapas podcast with Tom Racine and Justin Thompson. Justin and I have spoken before, so it was great to talk with him again, and I’ve been looking forward to bending Tom’s ear for quite some time. As expected, recording the episode was the very definition of a hoot.

GeekPapas is a site bringing together all sorts of fun and informative material–including the podcast, interviews, movie reviews, articles, etc.–for, well, geeky papas. As soon as I heard about it, I was all over it (if you haven’t figured it out, I am both a geek and a papa). In our episode, the guys grill me a bit about the origins of Odori Park, but we then quickly get into discussions of why I have failed to share Japanese language manga with my boys, and why the best advice for traveling to Japan with two pre-schoolers is not to.
