This is one of those “best defense is a good offense” scenarios. See, if you hit the other guy hard enough and fast enough, you never need to know how to fall. Colin could also go for the ol’ “You wouldn’t hit a guy wearing glasses, would you?” routine. But speaking as one who wears specs, that almost never works. You get to about “You wouldn–” and there’s a fist in your mouth.

Ah, the fall. Learn it well, else it can hurt you. I was the instructor’s Tori once and I took a front fall wrong, ended up with a section of my scalp with no feeling. Still (not) there.
