My dad used to say that the highlight of his week was to go to the Piggly Wiggly and watch the lobster tank.

Reminds me of the lobster tank that used to be at our local grocery store. As I kid I was both fascinated and horrified it (I was sure those tiny rubber bands on the lobster claws were going to snap at any moment and that I'd be in for it)! :)

George: Thanks! Glad you're digging my sketches; it's a fun change of pace :)
DadaHyena: It really is a putrid smell, isn't it? So delicious, yet so very pungent...
I should say, btw: I saw a crab this morning at the airport (they sell fish at the airport in Hokkaido) that was literally bigger than a cat. It took up the whole tank, by itself. You could only HOPE to eat that thing before it ate YOU.

Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco. All the critters of the sea (and all of their putrid smells) are on display in filthy glass cases just like this. My reaction is basically the same as Sprout's.

I'll eat anything, so there's a good chance I would try that. :) Love your sketch work, Chris!
