Ahhh… As a vegetarian myself, I’ve made plenty of Tofu burgers with just marinated Tofu and veggies. It’s certainly an acquired taste, but after a while you kinda like it better than the store bought Boca Burgers.

I think I can understand that, on account of Boca Burgers tasting generally nasty
I like tofu a lot, so I didn’t mind, but it was an awfully weird sight…

The unwanted bastard son of Mayor McCheese?

Don’t forget the extra-soft mushiness of the “burger”.

Very funny that you have this strip up today. I was just at a dinner with some colleagues and the subject of vegetarianism came up. I said there are a lot of health reasons to become a vegetarian. But there are a lot of flavor reasons not to! I wish I had some more willpower, then I’d do it, but the pull of barbecue is just too strong for me . . .

Howie: It comes in a multitude of geometric shapes, but the brick and the cube are the most common

DadaHyena: “You’re no soy of mine!”
George: “Two all-bean patties, extra-soft mushy please…”
Dan: As the grill marks suggest, you can still have the best of both worlds!

hey bro, gotta question: in general, do you do all yer pics with just pencil or do you use a non-repo pencil (blue pencil) to block stuff in from time to time as well?

love always,
“old skool” pete

Hey, Pete! I’m a bit slow on replies, given that I’m still vacationing
But in the hopes you meander back here to look for a response: Tried a non-repro blue pencil once, but it felt too greasy. Since I do all my “inking” digitally now, it’s sort of a moot point; I tend to “pencil” most often in ball-point pen on whatever paper I have laying around

“Excuse me, sir, but where can I can I get my burger red & dead?”

My wife is always trying to convince me tofu is the way to go … still … I’m … not quite there yet. I sure should be though (it’s a good thing I don’t know my cholesterol level)!
