I managed to get in my morning stroll every day I was in Osaka this week. The streets are fairly clear at 6am, and Osaka is full of really interesting architecture. Industrial art.

I used to live in Osaka-Sayama-shi. Most people haven’t heard of it but it’s not too far from Namba… maybe a half hour by train. Anyway, Osaka is a pretty fun city. I recognize that first pic as the Umeda Sky Garden, I think.
SpilledInk: It is pretty cool, isn’t it? Made me want to break out paper and a crayon and make a rubbing
Robin: That’s right–the Umeda Sky Building, as seen from behind the little chapel built on the roof of the tenth story of our hotel. Wondering if Sayama and Namba might be worth a visit next time I’m in the area…
