Never gotten a lifesaver, but half the time I kiss my boyfriend my next thought is “Oh cool, I’m wearing chapstick now!” I just found your comic the other day–I don’t know if it’s autobio at all, but Arisa and Colin remind me so much of me and my boyfriend. It’s so cute!

My wife won’t let me kiss her if I’m wearing chapstick, but if you have to swap something, a lifesaver or hard candy is probably the best!

Were LifeSavers the mint that was supposed to ’spark’ in the dark? I was never able to recreate that …

Isn’t it great when you get something good and then find that there is also a bonus?

Edana: Welcome, and thank you! There’s always a little bit of truth baked into the strip

2ManyCars: Hopefully, in both your cases, that’s just a layer of chapstick, and not a whole tube…
Bearman: Forsooth for tooth!
George: I might have to raise the parental advisory rating on this comic soon!
SpilledInk: Never saw that, either, but then again, somehow I don’t think watching for the spark was the point…
Bo: For some, the glass is half empty, for some half full. Sounds like, for you, it’s: “Hey, free juice!”
Andy: Thanks!
