Give the kid a lecture about how late you have to work every night and the virtues of responsibility.
That’ll put most ANY kid to sleep!

LOL!
Very astute, Aidan…

There never seems to be enough time!
My wife and I would love to visit Japan some day - I hope you have a great trip, Chris!
Too bad there wasn’t a bit more time for sight-seeing, etc. - are the Cherry Blossoms still in bloom (probably a bit too late for that, huh)?!

I can’t imagine working that late anymore. I remember doing that when I was a lot younger, but you don’t think about that when your a young dude. Now I’m lucky if I can stay awake after 9!

SpilledInk: Thanks for the good travel wishes! So far, so good. I’ve sight-seen in this area before, so I don’t feel too put out by the lack of sight-seeing time, but there’s always something new to explore. No cherry blossoms, though! The sakura bloomed here a good while ago
David: I am in total agreement. I’m constantly exhausted. I don’t really remember how “not tired” feels…

When you get my age it don’t matter if you are tired or not. You wake up with aches and pains and you still have ‘em when you go to bed. (The power nap helps though.)

I’d laugh if I weren’t already starting to feel those aches and pains…

…. I feel quite out of place on this particular comment page, given that I would leap at the chance for a 10pm-6am shift…..
Or really any kind of job at all. =/
