If the Earth’s poles shift, can I ask for milder weather, no rain and definitely no winter? Also can we have longer nights on weekends so I can justify sleeping late?

We actually have one of those kits buried in our closet. Still, it seems to me that if any serious emergency were ever to happen we would spend more time running/screaming out the door than digging out a box containing a weeks supply of T.P.!

LOL. True. We made one once, as well, but after about six months, we realized several of the food items–even canned–had gone south, and we didn’t relish the notion of continuing to stock a bottomless hole.
