1º Where do Arisa’s parents live?
2º Aren’t they Japanese? Shouldn’t they speak it (maybe à la Megatokyo)?

A day late and a dollar short, but answers abound!
1) They live in Japan.
2) I wrestled with how to depict them speaking Japanese without either using a technique that may be too subtle, or that would take readers out of the strip. I have a good idea on how to resolve it, but I ran out of time to go back to this strip and revise it. Might try it in future strips, or just fall back on the old angular bracket stand-by.
3) Can’t all parents?
