That’s too funny! Looks like me as a kid - maybe?
Love the strip - looking forward to the newer ones as well (just added your link to my blogroll). Syndicates are hard to figure out. I don’t even bother with them anymore because I know my material wont fly. I just focus on my MAD work, and my other endeavors in the cartooning world.

Thanks, Nate! I remember loving the smell of coffee as a kid, but always hating the flavor. Even today, though I’m a coffee fiend, I have to take it with gobs of sugar and cream. Guess I assumed all kids would react the same…
I’m impressed that you’ve done work for MAD!
I reconcile with the fact that there are a lot of ways to skin this particular cat. Pretty soon, for better or worse, the newspapers probably won’t even be an option.
